How to make a tie......

Hi there, was wondering if any of you clothing crafties knew how to make a neck tie or where I could find a pattern? Should I use a particular type of fabric? I have no idea so any help greatly appreciated!

Try Burda (http://www.burdastyle.com/patterns/osman-tie) they have downloadable patterns, most fabrics with a bit of body are okay, remember to cut on the bias.

If it's good enough i'd like to sell them for christmas, it's for adults and I wanted to match them to my cufflinks. If you could help that would be great!

Thats a shame I have children size patterns but not adults. I did come across this on Etsy though
