Surely in London.....there are bound to be a couple of big craft shops that I could visit when I go for a weekend trip on 11 January. Haven't had much luck finding any details of stores to feed my craft habit. Haven't told my partner that some big-time craft browsing is part of the agenda either (yet)!. Anybody out there know where I can get a fix in central London?. I come from the sticks so anything is bound to be a step up the craft hierarchy. Grateful for any advice.

Sorry, I cant really help.
I have noticed there are art supply shops, like canvasses and paints etc, bead shops but Ive not heard or seen any big craft shops.

Thanks for your post Seahorse. A friend has told me that there is a big craft store in Balham High Road (but that it might lean heavily towards sewing crafts). I'll just have to hit the streets and hope to strike lucky. London can't really be a craft-free zone, surely!. Thanks again.
