I want to enhance some of my tealight holders with flat back gems and glass beads but am unsure which glue I need. I have only got an all purpose adhesive. will that be ok or do I need something stronger.

Many thanks in advance

Hello - you could try G-S HYPO CEMENT. The red one is for non-porous surfaces. It's really easy to use and drys clear, it has a very slim nozzle with a tiny hole so it's really easy to control the amount you use - so no sticky fingers! ;)

Are the applied gems and things going to get hot? Also are you applying them onto a transparent clear surface?

If yes to both of them then I would recommend a UV glue which is heat resistant too, you don't want your glue to melt and give of nasty fumes if it gets too hot.

I can recommend some brands but the cost varies quite a bit, so it depends on how much you want to spend and/or how much you want.

hi
I agree, UV glue, but if your tea light holders are clear can I suggest you look for " optically clear" glue, the type they use for reading glasses etc.
