Registering with inland revenue

Hi, have been reading through the posts on here and need a bit of advice. I have recently set up a shop with youcraftylot and a facebook site. As of yet I haven't sold anything through them, I have only made a few bits for friends and gifts before. When do I need to register with the IR now or when I start selling. Is there anywhere I can got to for advice on all this, starting to wander if I have bitten off more than I can chew.lol.
Would really appreciate some advice please.

Within 3 months of trading - even if you haven't sold anything!

Inland Revenue should give you advice, and may run some seminars. They also do an easy to read leaflet about working from home.

Phoned them and leaflet is on it's way, soon I will be official!!!!
