What does everyone think - is it too early to put my christmas range on the website???.
I nearly have it all ready to go on but don't want to put it on too early, but there again I know that shops are already starting to stock christmassy stuff.
Any feedback would be great.
Thanks in advance. x

All the shops are doing it so I say go for it. We are in the times when the majority of people have tight budgets so the costs of Christmas will be spread out over a longer period than before so having your Christmas stock out earlier may help people fund their Christmas

Nicki, definately put them up I would love to see what you have. Every year my friend runs a bauble exchange party now bear with me whilst I try to explain what it is. You buy a gift (supposed to be up to the value of £5 but everyone always cheats and spends more to impress) it can be a bauble for the tree or some other type of christmas decoration a wreath, a singing novelty or somehting to go on the mantel whatever you like. You wrap it up and try to smuggle it in without anyone seeing then it goes under the tree. Everyone gets a number so number 1 goes first you choose a gift from under the tree and unwrap it then show it to everyone. Then number two can either pinch what you have in which case you have to choose again or they can unwrap something new. And so it goes on until all the gifts are unwrapped.
So basically I am looking for something for the party which is the 8th December this year. I want something really unique, will be interested to see what you put up on the site.

I think it's about the right time to put them on your website. As others have said, the shops always put Christmas things in after the schools go back, so I'd go for it.

I would say now is an ideal time and it also means you do not have to rush

My friend does a card/bric a brac stall and got me to make her a load of different stockings. I started in July (summer hols!) and gave her the lot back in September to sell!
I think I'd do early rather than later because a lot of people do their xmas shopping over the year. (I'm one of them.)

I'd get it online, I've already started my Christmas shopping (started it in January sales!!!) and I'm not alone in the present buying.

Well, that's decided it then. Thankyou all for those replies and for helping me make my mind up. I will be putting it on the website as soon as I get chance this weekend. Thanks again.
If any of you do take a look I would love to know what you think.
