A FAQ top tip thread

This may have been done before or not - sorry to the mods if it has and I am sure you will enlighten me if it has.. I know the forum is useful to all who use it for information in all the different groups and rooms available. But I thought we might have a central space even a sticky that could help with the most FAQ so that new members dont always ask the same question ( I accept we can all do searches but the searches dont also pull up the results) - or theres another line I feel we could do which is without giving out trade secrets, top suppliers etc we could contribute to a thread which can help those just starting out - I am only talking just simple but effective tips examples ... My glue gun keeps a running thread even though Ive depressed the trigger........ when in long use this happens but keep a pair of scissors handy and when you see the thread starting snip it and it wont ruin your work remember to wash the scissors after if you intend to use them again.......
