I'm Cheryl & I have just joined this forum. I used to make handmade cards, but now I have moved on to making cake toppers with polymer clay.

It's the URL bit I have problems with - do I have to load a picture to my website from my computer to give it an address, or can I upload straight from 'my pictures'? Sorry to hijack your thread Cheryl, but I'll be gone in a minute!:p

I have already said hello on this thread but I have just been to look at your website. The toppers are fantastic! You are very talented. Makes me want to buy a cake just to have one on top.. though there doesn't need to be much incentive for me to want a cake!!

Hi Cheryl,
I also make cake toppers and a few other pieces. I started up a business a few months ago after people asked me to make things for their children and so far so good. I've got about twenty of my own designs now but i'm still not sure if i'm under pricing as the only cake toppers i've seen for sale tend to be for weddings where people can charge quite high. Do you have any tips?

Hi Sarah,

Thats great you make cake toppers too, how much do you charge for your work? I charge £24.99 for single figures due to the materials & time that goes towards them (as you know) and £49.99 for a couple. Have you got a website? I have seen other people charge quite high for any occasion too, not just weddings.:)
