I used to make cards too -- embroidered wisps of handmade felt. Very pretty but rather time consuming.

about 30 miles according to the RAC site. I would have thought it would have been further! I'm in the valleys.

Great place! I can't wait to get back to my roots - don't speak the language though, sadly.

lol I don't have a TV so I don't. I live up away from Cardiff in one of the Valleys just south of Merthyr and I prefer Newport when it comes to shopping :p

Hi Jane, I'm in Cardiff and I'm just starting out in the craft world. Just thought I'd say hi and if you have any info on fairs that are within public transport distance away from Cardiff I'd appreciate any advice. Have you had much success so far?
