Hi all,

Did this for a bit of fun last weekend. These words of 'love' were cut out from a single copy of my local newspaper and then embedded into a resin heart pendant.

Hi all,

Thanks for all your lovely comments !

I spent ages going through the whole paper looking for suitable words and couldn't find anything. I then got to almost the last page and it was the 'In celebration' section with Birthday announcements..sorted ! It did make me laugh !!!

That's a great idea, and very effective. What you need now is a "good News" newspaper with lots of lovely words in it. ;)

Its a great idea got me thinking you could do numbers for birthdays 16,18,21 etc.
Might take some looking but childrens names in a pendant would look great to.:)

wow, this is stunning! I love how the paper has gone almost translucent in the resin!

I would be tempted to ask the local chip shop for some plain newspaper/chip paper and try stamping or printing onto it before embedding!
