Hello,
When does everyone make there sites festive (if at all)?
If you do, what do you do?

I'd not even thought about making the site festive - although there is not a lot I can do at the moment anyway. It's something to bear in mind though for next year. All the retail shops have already started their big Christmas push as Halloween has finished and it's the next big money making thing - I'm obviously in a cynical mood today! I would wait until the 1st December myself although it seems to start earlier and earlier each year - or is it because I'm getting old!

I'm a beader so whenever the season is near I'll just think up beading ideas like beaded snowman or santa or anything festive and put the photo of the completed bead creation on my site. (hee, that's because mine is a personal hobby site)
Cheers!

Begining of December is usally when I start playing with my site, and bringing all the christmas items onto the home page with links to the rest. But have been so busy lately what with the childminding, school runs, post office runs just havn't got round to it. Should be really doing something now but have been not been well the last couple of days so thought I would just sit here and catch up on the messages.

Hope you feel better soon :) So do you run your site along with childminding? I find it hard to cope with just two children sometimes!!

Hi thanks feeling a lot better now.
Yes I do run the site along side childminding, I keep an eye on my emails and orders while children or sleeping or sneak in quickly while they are eating, get up about 6 and pack all the sales and put all sales onto computer. Any alterations to the site are usually done at night or weekends.
I do my posting everyday and we always make a thing of it, go and do the post then go to the park or go to a cafe the kids love it and they help pack the parcels and the girls in the PO love them.
I mind 3 children full time and 1 part time and love every minute of it. Never have time to get bored....lol
