If I wanted to make my own small wooden toppers for cards which wood would be best? Also would a hacksaw be any good for cutting whichever wood or would a jigsaw be better. The toppers will only be small. Also which kind of paint would I need to use on them.
Any advice would be great - thanks

Hy
I have used Thin Balsa wood in the past which can be bought from most model shops. Easily cut with a stanley knife, take care though. Spray primed then finish painted using tester pots from b&q.
Hope this helps.

Fantastic - thank you! Did you just use the little emulsion pots from B and Q? Or would I need to buy gloss? I suppose it would depend on what kind of finish I wanted!:)
