I hate it when I decide to sit down to do something crafty and Tara decides that she needs my undivided attention - and then Anya needs to go to the loo and Tara starts screaming!! Just happened for the thrid time today!!! Ah well, the joys of parenthood! Wouldn't change it for the world though!

Good idea about joining her in the bathroom but I often think 'two minutes to get somthing done!!'
What I hate about ordering things is that I often wait in all day and then decide that the girls need some fresh air and come back to find that the parcel has been delivered but put in the wet sandpit or that I have to travel for an hour and a half to pick it up!!! Aaaarrrggghhh! Rant over I think

And right now, a scarily ugly bloke just turned up at my door and said he'd come to sort out my draught prooofing. I know nothing of this.

Phone Himself quickly and hiss down the phone, trying to smile at the scary bloke on the step. Yes, says Himself, I organised it months ago.

Yes, well, thanks for telling me. It's no good saying it was in your diary. You have your diary and you are out. I'm skulking upstairs trying to keep away from said scary bloke......grrrrrrrr!!!!!

I hate it when....

you've got loads of sewing orders to make and the blade on your overlocker sewing machine decides to be blunt without any warning, so you have to dig out the telephone number of where you bought it from last time because that's when you did all the research finding out who sold them the cheapest and then you have to ring them and hope they're in stock and then you have to wait for it to arrive in the post so that means the day you had planned for making sewing orders then turns into a jewellery-making day instead so you have to put all your fabric away and get all your beads out and spend half an hour looking for your pliers because you know you've seen them somewhere and there they are, under the pile of fabric you've just put away...... and, breathe!

Still - beats going to any office any day ;)

Even worse is the moron who says 'Why? Why are you making that when you can buyit cheaper in the shops?'

My 'Why' questions is 'Why are you here? Close the door on your way out.....'

But....I hate it when it takes you two hours to unpick something it took you 2 minutes to put together (wrongly).....aagghhhh

I hate it when you read other peoples posts/blogs and they manage to do things while watching tv so you decide to try it yourself. Watched a bit of tv and got 2, yes 2, things listed on Etsy, not the 20 I had planned!! I knew there was a reason I don't watch tv  Stupid bl***y thing!

I remember the days when the postman actually came in the morning - now I am lucky if he is here fore 3pm.

Come to think of it remember twice daily deliveries - when did that stop - did I blink and miss it? I hate having to go to the dank dingy sorting office to pick up parcels - but I suppose it is better than having to work in the dank dingy sorting office though!!

It will just make it all the more exciting tomorrow when you pick them up.

Cheers.

Our postman thinks he is being helpful by leaving parcels on the doorstep, outside table and even on one occasion, the sandpit - would have been fine if he had put the lid on properly but he didn't and we were away for the weekend and it chucked it down...... Very soggy books  So I don't mind going to the sorting office to pick parcels up - beats having them ruined/pinched!!

That happended to me too just before Christmas. The kids wanted heelies (and those puppies cost a fortune I can tell you). Ordered a couple of pairs up and the delivery guy very kindly left them in our barbeque - yep barbeque, it is a big brick chimmney type thing so the top of the boxes were covered but the rain was hammering it down - and 2 pair of soggy heelies later - one very unhappy mum.!!

Did you know that posties aren't supposed to leae parcels unless they have your written permission to do so? We had a parcel go missing that the postie had 'helpfully' left. Worse was it was recorded delivery and he signed for it himself!!

There was an article in our local paper about a helpful postie who left a parcel carefully hidden in an elderly couple's bin. Unfortunately, they were away and the bins got emptied while they were away, and because of their age they had been able to apply for special help with the bins which meant the binmen collected their bin - they were not amused :o

Yep - had those things happen too - postie left the parcel on the green bin and luckily our binmen won't collect unless you leave the bin off your driveway - ours wasn't thank goodness. Our postie has also signed for things special and recorded delivery and where we used to live the postman used to peel the recorded delivery stickers off just so that he could post them! :o

I try to get most things delivered to me at work - it just saves time, and there's always someone in reception :D

Of course, the only problem with that is I then have to sit frustrated at work when I just want to play with my goodies :pc:

hehe, just have to add, I actually set the scene!!Make sure Ive cooked my meal, got a drink, tv is on the right channel for background entertainment, get myself comfy, then and only then doI open the envelope of delights!!

certain delivery companies won't deliver to me beause our house in on a lane (well more of a track ) and the huge vans the use won't go down it.

I've spent several hours on the phone to the suppliers of ribbon telling them this an all the ottherwise helpful assistant said was "if we tell them to deliver to that address then the will!!"
anyway then the package never made it and the company lost it in the warehouse!!! Then the suppier said that I was liable to pay for it as it was a large order, despite never recieving it!!
Magically the next day i got a phone call from the delivery driver that was at the end of the lane!! so I had to walk down the half a mile land pick it up and carry it home. luckily the package wasn't heavy.

The time before I had to take the wheelbarrow!!!:)

Do you think the colour could be effected by something?Storage?I keep them in a grip seal bag.

Dont you hate it when you need flatback diamantes for a project, buy the smallest/cheapest pack you can get only to realise you actually need one more than is in the pack you bought.
I need 21 flatbacks, I have 20 flatbacks.

... You spot a photo of the beads you want (loose beads in the pic), calculate how many you are going to need then buy a 16" string of beads only to find when they arrive that there are only about 10 beads on the string that are separated by those plastic bead separators.
