I see that there is no forum for ceramics and pottery. If there is anyone here who is a ceramicist or potter, lets take about raku!

Yes lets...... I don't know much about it though. I saw a few examples on another forum recently. How do you create it?

Do you think that out of most crafts pottery is the one that you can earn the least money?
Raku is a japanese technique where you take the quickly fired pot out of a small kiln at 600 - 1000 degrees and plunge it in combustable material to produce mind blowing effects;
Copper can go any color that exists, no way of producing this effect in any other way.

I realise that this is really old but I would be interested to hear more if anyone has any opinion on Raku.
Plus the book name would be much appreciated :)
