Weighty pennies

People use those lead penny weights to weigh down curtains but can yuo think of a similar thing that doesnt involve lead?

We used a piece of bamboo cane - the garden stuff - in ours and as the curtain was made of fairly thin material, it worked. Obviously it was put into a channel at the bottom of the curtain! Just thought though - lakeland do table cloth weights for holding down tablecloths (obviously!) - they might do.

hehe, They arnt for curtains, but necklaces, I think Ive solved my own problem, but thanks anyway.
If it doesnt work Il try the duck/llama method.
