Hi Thank you for your replies to my query about the cost of pitches. Do you find it difficult to contact the people who run fairs? You can tell I'm new at this! I emailed Kevin Murphy Craft Fairs and Appletree yesterday but have no replies yet - could not find tel nos. Is this usual? Is this what you do? Regards Ann May

Some fair organisers are full time businesses, others are volunteers or working full time in other occupations.
If they are not businesses, they may be on holiday, or not check their emails that often. I had this once - I was told that they only log into email when they want to send one??????
As they are keen to get as many different stalls as possible they usually respond quite quickly.
Try again in a few days

Jules from Appletree used to be a regular member here and lots of our members have attended her fairs and been really happy with the management and organisation.
Most craft fair organisers have other jobs and resonsibilities as well and so they may take time to get back to you, but if you email them or leave a message on an answer phone, then they should get ack to you within a few days. (bear in mind that at this time of the year, people are often away on holidaay!)
