Strange things keep happening, every time I visit the site.
The actual content (forums) get lower and lower on the page.

Could the donate button be any bigger?

Or perhaps you could shove even more adsense ads before the thing (forum) people are visting for.

Ever thought of moving the cash grab to its own pages.

Yours a crafter wishing there was a forum for crafters.

ps

love the site
please try harder ;)

Fair point.. Thats the point of this part of the forum hear..

I'll shink the donation button down as its been unsuccessful so far..

The point of donations and the ads is to pay for the hosting instead of it costing money ..

Do you and others feel I should reduce the size of the ads ?

I happy to hear any comments.. :D

Hiya,
I don't mind the adverts at all - they don't bother me. Maybe it's because I don't have time to look and jump straight to the forum part anyway!
At least the adverts on here are relevant unlike lots of other websites :D

could also be seen as advice/opinion
I prefer constructive critism.

Or would you rather have me just say "ooh thats nice" .Something that is said far too much in craft forums.

Kudos to 103 for not hitting the ban button, im just expressing an opinion.

ps

how about actually listing craft fairs by town city, or at least make those posting in that section always put the location first.

I enjoy constructive critism..

And take all opinions on board..

I'll explain why the craft fairs section isn't as organised as you may like it!
The fairs section is NOT for advertising the idea is to discuss doing craft fairs and not to advertise them.. Of course I allow some people offering fairs to keep their post as it does offer value to the forum..

My vission all along is to make the forum cover ideas and advice not BUY FROM ME.. as non savy web users well look this these sites that often have zero reputation..

ok.. The ban button.. umm.. bit lost in regards to why I'd ban you.. opinion is opinion is it not..!

BTW did you notice the donation button has been made into 1 line now!

ummm... And a final point.. I haven't had time to program it up but for memeber with over say 50 post the adds will reduce as this memebers are unlikely to need so many ads as new users or Trolls..

Hope that covers most questions ?

Better.
I know what ya gotta do for a forum;)

From a design point of view, still seems a lot of white space up there:rolleyes:

Better shut up before the fans hang me.

Keep it up.

Hang you? Now why should we want to do that? 4 posts end of July, 1 post beginning of October, 2 posts the end of October, 1 post the middle of November, you haven't made enough impact to even warrant a slapped wrist! :D See you in December. :)
