Craft fair advice - packaging

Hi,

Looking for some advise from all you craft fair experts.
I'm doing my first craft fair soon and am trying to get myself as organised as possible as far in advance as possible. Normally when I sell something through my website I send it out in a little pillow box, with the item itself wrapped in tissue paper. I'm thinking it's going to be impractical to wrap items in tissue paper before boxing them at the fair - too busy (I hope). I don't want things rattling about in the boxes, thinking that chains may get tangled etc.
Any ideas on what I can do instead?

You could get hold of some really nice boxes and charge for them ?

umm i'm trying to think I take it you look for packaging for Jewellery ?

Would sponge pieces on top/bottom of the piece be quicker?

Hi media - yes it's for jewellery. I already have boxes is making the items stay put, without wrapping in tissue first.

Hi Seahorse - like the spong idea, only thing is the boxes are pillow shaped and I can't think how sponges would work in that case.

What about little organza bags? Or would that be too much packaging?

Hi Swirly,

Thanks for the suggestion. I used to just use organza bags, but I've found them to be really expensive and I try to keep my costs as low as possible, to pass that on to my customers.

I'm looking at the sponge idea, but may just stick to the tissue. I usually have 2 or 3 pieces of each item, so I may just have them boxed up ready.
