I'll stop after this one or it'll get boring. This one started off as a pot with a neck but I developed what's known as a 'design opportunity.' (A bit broke off:p)

It was a lump of elder that one of my grandsons brought in for me to 'play with' as he put it. He's only 5 so I didn't hit him with it.

It's approx 6" dia and now I have to work out what to do with it next.

That would look lovely with a candle in it. I think it's quite beautiful.

leave it as it is, it's a lovely piece

I'd probably pop a small trailing plant in it or find a good spot to show it off in the garden or even make a lamp base out of it :D

It looks lovely and tactile so it says sculpture to me, perhaps make 2 smaller but different sized ones and place them together as a sculpture?

Make sure you tell your grandson you were 'playing' with ideas on CF ;):behindsofa:

I like that very much - it definitely say "touch me". It is a Work of Art.

I love it, as usual, and I do hope it's not the last one. Love looking at your work (or playthings:p)

This piece has now gone and hopefully it will be OK. Always worried that these things are OK when seen in the flesh.

I'm sure that the person who bought it will not be disappointed. They obviously have great taste and a true appreciation of well-crafted items.

Oi, it's crayons for arsonists, I'll have you know! :D

I'd just like to say that the piece looks even better than in the pictures and it made a great anniversary present... for me! Just plotting now... designs whirring round my head. Thanks again!

That's a relief. Selling things over the net is really hard as you never know if the 'client' will like it when it's in their hands. I am so pleased.

Don't spoil it:D
