This is a recent commission that I've just finished, on birch ply measuring 31cm by 31cm. It will be a unique gift from one of the couple to the other on their big day.

That's goodly! Great calligraphy - do you have a calligraphy point for that?

I use a fine detail nib to do the outline of the letters and shade them, rather than using a calligraphy nib as the heat transfer can be a little more unpredictable.

Then it's an even more impressive example of hand control!

And if you feel like doing a bigger one:)

All together now

What are you doing the rest of your life?
North and south and east and west of your life?
I have only one request of your life
That you spend it all with me.
All the seasons and the times of your days.
All the nickels and the dimes of your days.
Let the reasons and the rhymes of your days.
All begin and end with me.
I want to see your face,
In every kind of light,
In fields of gold and
Forests of the night;
And when you stand before
The candles on a cake.
Oh let me be the one to hear
The silent wish you make.
Those tomorrows waiting deep in your eyes
In the world of love you keep in your eyes,
Ill awaken whats asleep in your eyes,
It may take a kiss or two..
Through all of my life..
Summer, winter, spring and fall of my life,
All I ever will recall of my life
Is all of my life with you.

lovely work as always

Well done

Jane

Thanks for that, Jane, I had no idea that the verse came from a longer poem! I just worked with what the customer had sent me. What's it called and who is it by? I don't recognise it.
