View Full Version : I need a banner/logo for my website...
.....how do I go about creating one? Or did you pay someone to do yours for you, if so was it expensive and were you pleased with the results?
I hope I've posted in the right place - I'm a bit clueless about this part of setting up my website!

Do you have a graphics program such as Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro?
If not there is one called Gimp that you can download for free
There are plenty of tutorials on the net that should get you started (Just google website headers or blog header tutorials)
I think to have them custom made is quite expensive...for any decent one anyway...
Good luck!

Hi,
I'll have a go at putting something together if you like ...I like messing about with design, so it'll give me something to have a go at.
Any thoughts on what it should include? Name I presume, but what about colours, images etc? Also, can you tell me what size it needs to be?
Cheers.

Hiya, If you can't manage to do your own, try etsy. Loads of people sell things like this from as little as £2-3 or if you get something dearer a lot of people make it exclusive and add other bits on.
