Anyone know where I can find Kilt pins suitable for jewellery making?

Or if nickle plated steel is ok to use for brooches? I thought nickle was considered a no-go now??!!!

Erm, dont know really, Ive just seen things that say low nickel, for some reason I think its in the same league as lead.
I dont know for sure, I just like to stay away from things that sound bad.
I wont use beadalon chain as it says it contains a chemical that is recognised as causing cancer in some parts of the world!!!How doesnt it effect the rest of the world!!
