...Well, the back cover of Cross Stitch Collection magazine.

It'll be the July issue on sale June 6th. Issue no 172.

It's maybe not the most popular magazine, but the rates suited my meagre budget. Circulation is about 20,000 a month but hopefully lots of people will see the back cover in shops and newsagents without having to buy the magazine.

I feel quietly thrilled! It'll be a very special thing to see my own company featured large.

.......to be all fluttery and excited about something I've paid a lot of money (to me) for, but I am.

It's like confirmation that I have built up this company -it's promoting the craft fairs, not my sewn things - and it's real? I mean, it's real everytime we have a fair, but this is in proper print.

We're also in June's The World of Cross Stitching, but only a quarter page.

Paying for any advertising a huge step, I hope it works for you.

Have you got a good way of measuring the success of your campaign?

Hope the sales come flooding in.

I think they only way to measure would be to see how many more hits the website gets. Himself was a bit wary of spending out quite so much, but I think you have to take a risk sometimes. These mags do tend to hang around for ages, I know I used to keep them for years if there was a cross stitch pattern I wanted to find time to do. I have a few mags that are about 15 years old, and I'm still waiting to find the time to stitch the charts!

My sister said that if I'm this excited over an advert, what sort of state would I be in if I had an entire book published?!!
