I've had a friend create a website for me, she's just finished her OU web design course and generously offered to do it for free.
Can you please go have a look and let me know if there is any typos (everytime I read it I find somethign else, but think i've got everything now) and how it looks generally. I need to pop a promotions page in there and get the detials of the materials used for the gallery pics.
I had her use Stampin' Up! colours for it in warm shades as I thought it would be more welcoming.
Any way, let me know what you think please.
helps if I add the link! http://www.warringtonstampers.com/

The website is a great start, but try and get some images on the home page, it will make it look more inviting and encourage people to look further into the site.

I like your website, Helen. The colours are warm, welcoming and friendly. Easy on the eye, too, which is good.
I agree about images. What I would like to see, and what I think would encourage would-be workshop customers, is photos of people having fun at a workshop. Not loads, just the odd photo in appropriate places.
This sentence (and I'm being very picky, here - I was looking for errors):
The products I use for my classes and workshops and projects in the Gallery (http://www.warringtonstampers.com/gallery.html) are all using Stampin’ Up! products.
isn't really correct English, perhaps it could do with rewording slightly? (I was a Literacy teacher for 12 years, so I am more pedantic than most!!;)) If you take out the second using that'd make me a happy bunny:);).
Apart from those teeny tiny points, a fab website! Good luck.
Was also nice to see something local on the web... I'll see you at the craft fair at Grappenhall Community Centre on 31st May. :) Look forward to meeting you.
Best wishes

Thanks for pointing that out Wendy, I had noticed it then went off to do something else and forgot about it. Will email Wez now to change it.
Look forward to meeting you at the craft fair. just looked on your website and I think I know where any money I make will be spent!
Thanks everyone for the feedback. I'm planning on getting some pics of a workshop and a demo I'm doing this weekend so will add them to the site.

Very nice. I like the colours you have used on your site and I found it easy to navigate.
One thing I would change is the contact us page. We have a contact form on our site so our email address is not displayed. It stops spammers getting your email address and bombarding you with rubbish you don't want. There are plenty of contact form scripts out there written in PHP and (in my opinion) it also looks a bit more professional.
All the best

Love the warm colours and easy to navigate and get to things. Well done! A couple of things, first page, 4th paragraph, stationery instead of stationary (e for envelope, that's how I remember it!) and is 'Join ourClub' supposed to be like that or is it 'Join our Club'? Hope you don't mind me asking. :)

Again, thanks. I read through it that many times I'm missing these typos.
I will look into a contact form, thanks
