Hi all
I finally got down to the bottom of my craft box and have had the lovely suprise of finding some Sirdar Salsa DK wool.
Its obviously been there quite some time!!!
Does anyone know if there is a site where I can buy old/out of print knitting patterns from?
Yours gratefully, excited about making a nice jumper:)

Try the Charity Shops, very good for patterns, knitting pins and odd balls of wall.

Nice idea about the Charity shops, thank you. Not managed to find the pattern but I did pick up a nice old embroidery book.
Back to the Salsa wool. I emailed Sirdar, partly without hope, but had a very nice reply the next day. They did point out that it was a very long time since they had made that wool. I know I've not knitted for probably about 8 to 10 years. Sirdar had consulted their technical department and I'm pleased to say that Salsa stated that Salsa can be knitted to any of their standard double knit patterns, a real bonus as I have loads of patterns to choose from now.
So if you've got any old Salsa wool handing about just check out your Sirdar double knit patterns before you consign it to the jumble bag.
Thank you
Anita
