Question about hair bands

I was wondering if there is something I could use to cover the hair bands with, to cover up the wires.I would like something that would make it look neater, but which doesn't show too much. I usually use wire or thread, but it is very time-consuming. Is there anything else i could use??

you could use ribbon but personally i dont like it, try wire wrapping crystals along the base

Hello, I use metallic mesh ribbon, it comes in various colours and I use it to camouflage the base to match the hair colour. I get it from stitch and craft. I am sure you will find it on google. Its about £1.90m. Hope it helps
