Candle Making Courses In London

Howdy everyone.

Does anyone know of any candle making courses in london? I'd love to do a course. (actually i NEED to do a course as i am rubbish at making candles)

I can't think of any off hand. Have you tried your local Adult Community College, they often run classes in lots of subjects.

When you say you're rubbish, is it a case that you've not been doing it long?

Like with anything, practise makes perfect :D

I've looked at all types of colleges locally but had no luck. And yes, your right i haven't been making candles for long.

There is just so much conflicting information. For example some say you can't make pillar candles out of soy wax although compaines sell soy PILLAR wax as well as soy container wax.

A course will help in general i think, i really enjoy my new candle making hobby

Take a look at candlemakers.co.uk they are based near Olympia tube station and appear to do classes. i dont know how much they are. I have used them many a time for supplies and there shop is quite a time warp.
