Many, many years ago I crocheted a dress for an aunt of mine. The pattern was in a magazine, Womans Weekly or some other mag of that ilk. It was sized from child to adult. The design of the dress had a round neck, cap sleeve and lacey crocheted skirt but it had surface crochet on the top of it which made it look as if it had a fair isle top.
I have searched high and low for the pattern and cannot find it anywhere. I'm hoping maybe someone has this hiding away somewhere or would know where I could find old magazine patterns.

I believe Womans Weekly is still going, I am sure I have seen it on the bookshelf in Smiths, have you tried writing to them, I am sure they would love the challange of researching the archives!!.

Good Luck

I was buying W.Weekly for Mum until last year. They often have pics of readers' work from past issues in and usually say that they don't have the patterns any more unfortunately.
