AOL?

I have had 3 customers today, using AOL, who say they cannot access my website?

All other browsers seem ok.

If you use AOL would you please do me a favour and try to access my site?

If you cannot access would you please let me know.

Hi, i use AOL and whenever I tried to connect to your website this is what it said 'website delcined to show this webpage' - sorry. Not sure why this is but I have found that I had other problems accessing some sites with AOL. :confused:

I don't use aol, and I never intend on using aol. Nothing personal, but I have heard things like this happening. Aol seems to be very picky about what it likes to show and what it likes to avoid like the plague. Don't know why, sorry.

It could be a coding issue. Is it just standard html you use..? Other coding could cause a conflict with the users software. Might also depend on what version of aol they're using.

It could get complicated. :mummy:

Im told by my son in law, a IBM consultant that it can take quite some time for all the servers to pick up new web sites, and its not unheard of for them to block certain ones for no particular reason.

AOL has a certain reputation in the internet fraternity (particularly in newsgroups) - but it must be frustrating if it's potentially losing customers for you.
