Hi,

Yes, I had my insurance with them last year (Combined Market Trader Insurance Association) - very reasonably priced. I need to renew it as it has just run out, but I may go with Ian Wallace as they will also cover me for workshops etc as weel, for not too much more.

Dave's never heard of them but reading the info they've been around since 1994. Their full premiums work out at £3 less than the NMTF policy which is accepted virtually anywhere and they only need to see your membership card and not necessarily your actual policy. We've just renewed our policy but have bookmarked that site and will def look at them for next year.

Wherever and however you sell you are open to being sued if your product causes injury or death.
As a private 1 off seller you are usually covered by you house contents policy, but if selling as a hobby or business then you should be insured seperatly.
