My Aunt (Yes, I have loads of them, this is the 90 yr old) sent me loads of bits of wool left over from her tapestry work. They are only short pieces and I didn't know what to do with them. I was telling Cathy (Recycled Bag Lady) and she came up with a couple of ideas. The wool wasn't long enough for a hat but how about this. Never tried anything like it before.
Oh, and the other pic is the replacement dog collar mentioned in another thread - flashy or what!

That's very nice! I love the purse... I tried to do a little round flower like that a while ago but it was a mess. I'm tempted to try again now.

I am currently using short lengths of wool, crochet yarn and embroidery floss to make flowers for brooches, cards and bookmarks.

Thanks, the purse found a good home and the kids found the old dog collar so it now hangs in the kitchen unused. lol.
