hello!

hello i'm new here. In fact i just stumbled across this forum this evening. :D

Well I'm 32, married and have two very lovely siamese cats. I live in South London and I'm a journalist for a very well known woman's weekly magazine! :rolleyes:

I like to do any sort of crafts in my free time as i find it so relaxing and a great way of expressing my creativity.

My one problem is that I moved to london three months ago and I can't find a decent craft shop!!!! :o Can anyone help???:rolleyes:

Cheers Lynsey! Grumblebum..... lol. that's a name i use on a siamese cat forum. It started off as a nickname for my 10 year old male siamese cat - he's always grumbling and moaning! bless!

I do hope someone can help me with my craft shop predicament. I do order things off the internet but I'm a very tactile person and its nice to handle things and examine them in minute detail before you buy.
Mind you I will be going to the scrapping show at Ally Pally in September so have saved some money up for there.

I think I'm going to have to jump on the tube and travel out to the nearest Hobbycraft (14 miles away *sobs*)

Sorry can't help with the craftshops in London bit but the Londoners amongst us will be able to help you with that I'm sure - although a lot of us here have craft shops online you could always browse ;)
