Business Link! Courses for crafters?

This can be a problem as I found most courses seemed to be geared for 'proper jobs'. However I picked things like marketing, getting ahead of the opposition any of the courses can give you an insight into business and even though they may not be directly related to what you do, you can gleam some really useful information from the speaker. I had one recently about 2012 which involved contract work, therefore not really for me.

My advice would be read the detailed blurb and see if you can get something out of it. I found the attendees not as friendly as networking groups and the suits looked at me as if I was playing at working but at the last event I met a lovely lady who is taking over a local event tea room and she wants Victorian style gifts to display, so you never know what could happen. Just give it a go and good luck.
