Soldering dilemma

I make slie pendants, 2 bits of glass with a picture between them then solder round it.In this case its an acetate picture.
With some pictures I have the soldering iron seems to melt the picture, like it was being burnt only very slightly in the corners.

If I were to sell these would they be acceptable with the burn?
Basically can I pass it off as intentional and it adds to the feel of the picture(which are victorian looking)?

That's a difficult one to call! em! I suppose you could only try and see, if they don't sell or you get bad feedback then you have your answer. Perhaps you could post a pic and I'm sure we'll all give you an honest answer.
