XCUT impress

As i am new to cardmaking i decided to start with the xcut impress machine, can anyone tell me if any other die cuts etc will work, or do i have to stick to the ones specifically for the xcut ?

I think Xcut is the smallest of the machines and will only take it's own dies, etc.
