I'm seriously considering making lots and lots of paper flowers for centerpieces for my wedding (h2b not keen on idea). Has anyone else created paper flower centerpieces and what do you think, is it a step too far in wedding craftiness?

I love making paper flowers, if you have the time the effect can be stunning... Good luck with organising the wedding and have a happy day :D

I think it sound fab!
The only thing is I think you would need a really big display on each table for full impact, and so it doen't just look like you couldn't afford real flowers. Some people just don't get style and individuality!

I think it's a great idea if a little time consuming..
I think the best centrepiece I've seen was many years ago at a friends wedding where she had little handmade decorated wishing wells on each table with small cards and pencils , guest wrote down their good wishes for the bride and groom.
After the wedding she put all the cards in a pretty photo album...
she still has the album but not the husband ,lol ;)
