I try not to do the 'basic, intermediate, advanced', thing...............it has got to the point where perfectly capable students are scared to go to a workshop in case it's beyond them - and none of us think we're 'advanced' anyway do we? I do stress that it's 'beadweaving', but if you can thread a needle or follow a knitting pattern you're half way there anyway! :) If it were a kit where you would be left on your own I would suggest some experience, but the reason I'm there is to teach that experience - I hope. 'Some experience of beadwork' is what I usually put, having said that, a lot of patience and a good pair of glasses is going to be needed for the Edinburgh one. The Glasgow workshop is less..............taxing...........! :D
BTW, the waistcoat cost me £5. :D

Hello again,

Is there any spaces left for the next class, if so I will mention it to my Uncle, my cousin is eager to start making jewellery... she has dabbled a bit so far but is still very new to it all, let me know and I can pass it over to him.
Thanks.... £5 Bargain! :D

Sorry! Where can I find a full list of dates, so far I noted down 18/19 April.
But if there are more available even better just in case she has something planned for those dates.

I must warn you though she is only 18 and really shy, (just like me lol) but I think it would do her confidence the world of good. :)

I have to admit, I'm not particularly into jewelry Peter but that certainly held my interest. It is so different and beautifully put together. I wouldn't wear it myself but would be proud to give it to someone special as a gift.

For anyone brave enough, I'm planning to make a kit available after the April workshop - but the kit will be at least 'some experience of beadweaving'! :)

Thankyou Peter but I think I would rather buy it from you. I can't see me having enough patience to do anything as small and intricate. It would probably end up accross the room within 5 mins., so in this instance I would rather admire your art than 'have a go'.

Hey, look at that, 2000th post.
