I went to an antiques fair at the weekend and bought 2 tomato sized diamante hollow balls for £10.They each had a ring to attatch it to something which was handy.
This morning I made one into a necklace, simple long chain with one of these things hanging from it.
I was wearing it all morning, my lady boss comes in, a couple of hours later she says enthusiastically 'your necklace is nice'.I told her where i got them from and I suggested' I can make you one if you like'.She said yes!
Instead of making one as I dont have all the bits I said she could have the one id made which she was ok with.
She said 'il pay you for it' I told her the main ball had cost me £5 and if she wanted to she could decide on any extra.
I got the fiver back and some change, around £9.50.Its going into my 'buying sparkly stuff' fund.
My first sale.I shall mark this day down in my diary.Her daughters wearing it at the moment.
