Hi,
I am after some advise about what type of material to use.
I am wanting to make a necklace (this is where it gets tricky trying to explain!) which is a hoop around the neck and has upside down triangles coming from it.
My main problem is that I don't know what to use for the hoop and triangles not to lose their shape.
Any advise.

Hane you considered using memory wire for the hoop?
I am not sure what to suggest for the triangles though!

Can you use the trianglar bails which are the same as jump rings but triangular?

Don't hthink I have explain it right.
Imagine you draw a round circle on a piece of paper, then add large triangles to the circle pointing away. It should look like a sun?
You then would wear it with your head going through the middle of the circle and the triangles all around.
Does that make sense?

Would memory wire be too thin for the necklace ? That would be my first thought.
For the inverted triangles, would sturdy wire that people use for wire wrapping and making pendants do ? I think i've seen some forum members websites with fantastic wire pendants - they might be able to help.

Im sure Ive seen solid round necklaces that hook together at the back.
Maybe then add the triangles using normal wire.
It's difficult describing something like that isn't it. What would your materials be? The picture I have in mind is a silver collar with soldered triangles coming away, but somehow I don't think that's right either.
