Ok guys, please be gentle with me, this is the first time I have stuck my head in hear, but I figured you guys would be the best to ask.
I am wanting to stick some fabris to cardboard, nothing fancy, just to cover the card, so what kind of glue would be best?
Many thanks

I asked around when I wanted a glue to stick ribbon to card and was recommended Gutterman glue, it's been excellent and well worth the money.
It's used for sticking ribbon & fabric to things and works really well.
hth :)

Fanking you very much, looks like I have to go and buy yet another glue then! (this is rapidly turning into a glue house, what with my jewellery glue, the normal pva and the plastic melting stuff that his lordship uses!)

Have you tried using pva, I find this works just as well. It will save you buying more glue too ;)

I'd try the PVA first..... if that doesn't give a fast enough or good enough hold then try the Guitterman because that's albsolutely brilliant.

PVA will soak into the fabric, though... or at least it did when I used it. Sprayglue usually doesn't...

I have made the odd fabric card, using Pinflair's bookbinding glue. That's excellent and is guaranteed not to mark the fabric as it's the same stuff that is used in restoring old books. I have bought with fabric kits, but I think you can get it individually in the pots from the createandcraft website. It's a smallish size pot (about the size of a tub of houmos!!) but you almost put it on and then scrape it off again, you only need a very thin layer. It's white, like pva, and dries clear. Good luck with finding your glue :)
