Just checked my email and there is a foreign paypal payment and its from someone who has bought a knitting pattern off me on etsy! This is my first ever sale of anything I have made or designed, have had a couple of emails from people who used my freebie patterns on my blog but never sold one.... heart is going like the clappers!!!!!!! Am so excited (and now scared stiff that she will get back in touch to say how awful it is!)

I don't think you can ever get bored of the feeling that you get when you sell something you've put time and effort into... I was contacted through Etsy for the first time in ages yesterday about a potential order and was still chuffed to bits. It's just nice to know that someone has chanced across your work and contacted you when they could easily have gone elsewhere. All the best and well done!

I've made 2 sales on etsy and was shocked at both as I never expected my stuff to get noticed when there is such beautiful designs on there

Thanks for all the positive comments, dh doesnt really get crafty stuff so its nice to have other people excited for me! she has left positive feedback so she is pleased with it, am so glad and relieved! and hopefully now i have feedback someone else will risk buying from me!
