Hi,

I have another question and hope I can explain it correctly.

I have a silicone mould which is of a 'cupcake' with a cherry on the top,

so I filled the cherry part with red soy wax, left it to cool / harden, then I added my white soy wax and left it to harden.

Much much much later, when I turned it out, a little of the red colour had 'bled' into the white of the cake part!

Hope that makes sense?

Have I filled the the cherry part too far up to the top? Or is it another problem?

Thanks as always for your replies !

Do you know i had exactly that mold, and could kick myself now as i sold it and i realised you could just paint the cherry afterwards......... hope that helps

You could have over filled the cherry part with red wax or if it ins more a bleeding effect either the red wax hasn't set enough or your white wax was too hot when poured to cause the two to mix together. Try pouring the wax a little cooler or as suggested just paint it instead.

HTH.
