Could someone advise me to which glue is best for sticking cured polymer clay to wood. It needs to be a strong bond.
thank you in advance.

Not really my speciality, but I would of thought araldite (epoxy resin glue) would do a good job

Thanks, I didn't think of araldite, I was trying to think more of a gel type as the clay may not be completely flat and a gel type would be more forgiving. My oh has some araldite somewhere, I'll try it over the weekend.

Hi Fiona.
I use household super glue and it works a treat! I have never had any trouble with it and it has a permanent bond. It comes in a gel form if you shop around - I think it is a Bostik superglue gel but can't remember for sure :)

Hello Fiona,
I have used aryldite to stick ceramic pieces to many things including wood, and it works well. You mentioned the surface not being completely flat... you could try using hot glue from a glue gun as it will lodge into any gaps/bumps in the clay and can be applied thickly. it also dries very fast.

The 2-part epoxy glues like Araldite are excellent for this and Lidl are selling some similar pretty cheap at the moment
