I am really interested in doing a cake decorating course but can only find evening classes such as sugar craft level 2 and 3 or small 1 day icing courses etc. I want to do an intensive course, can be full time and one that actually has qualifications at the end of it such the ABC ones that are advertised everywhere.
Does anyone know where i can do these type of courses or would i have to just do the ordinary 4 hours per week over the next 2/3 years to get to the level 3 qualification.
I look forward to hearing from you
Sam

Have you had a look at squires school.

I don't know anything about the qualifications but i know they do longer courses, if you don't mind paying the fees!

Where abouts are you..?

have you thought about going along to a british sugarcraft guild meeting..? They have meetings all over the country, usually once a month with a demo included. They're very friendly and could probably put you in touch with somewhere that does sugarcraft courses

Joining the guild is the best thing i've done to improve my cake decorating skills =D

It might help if you told us what area you're in. ;)

I've no idea about the longer, intense courses but for anyone that fancies having a go why not check out your local community centre or Surestart group as they do free courses and cake decorating is one. I know someone that did one and then went on to earn quite a bit of money making and selling her cakes.

>> Have you thought of online classes? The ones at Pretty Witty Cakes are so good. Suzi and the other tutors teach you baking, cake decorating, cake projects, etc - and you can order the materials from their online shop too, next day delivery.
