Hello everyone, I'm new here, but have been crafting for years. I mainly make fairy wings, dioramas (3D pictures in a framed box-all handmade items inside). At the moment I am helping a Childrens Centre to get ready for a carnival - the theme is insects and the float is to be decorated like undergrowth, if anyone has any good suggestions about how to do this I would be very grateful.

The carnival float sounds great. A few years ago we did a school play with a jungle them and got these enormous fabric leaves on stems from IKEA. It was a year or two ago though - they also used to do big fluffy animals - there may have been insects too. Good luck with it all
