Hi guys and gals,

I am looking to update my packaging and I wanted your opintions.

Currently I wrap my jewellery in tissue paper then put it into an organza bag.

However, I am looking at using boxes.

I would still wrap the jewellery in tissue paper.

But what sort of box?

Option 1 - transparent pillow box

Option 2 - a white rectangular box

Both will have a ribbon wrapped round them.

Which would you prefer to receive??

Thanks, Lou

The transparent pillow box is screaming at me as its decorative but its an added layer that the anticipating recipient is going to have to get through, adding to the excitement.
Like being so near yet so far.
Transparent sounds very modern too.

Could you leave the pillow box plain but use the ribbon around the tissue papered item?

They both sound lovely. I used to use gold pillow boxes at events but found that posting them was a nightmare, by the time they reached the customer they were squashed. Boxes are a must for posting out to customers.

Why not do both but uniform them to your ID.
