Kids necklace length

Being a cheapskate I thought Id make my friends daughter a necklace for her birthday out of stuff i already have.

How long is a kids necklace chain?She will be 8yrs old.

Your not being a cheapskate, I think it's a lovely gesture and one I'm sure the like girl will love. I think a 12" or 14" chain is what your after,

Ahh, thanks.Il probably go for 14" so it can last a bit longer as she grows.

I just refuse to get her any Bratz stuff.I want her to stay as she has been and to like fairies and prinecesses.

So far Ive got one of those mini test tubes, il put a message in it, and attatched a swarovski pinky/purple heart and princess charm.
Probably leave it at that unless i get carried away.

12" or 14" will be fine. I am lucky as I use my 2 daughters who are 3 & 8 as models!

And it's not being a cheapskate, it's a lovely idea and you better be prepared to get busy as her friends will be asking her where she got it! :D

Cant remember if I said but i made my mum a necklace a few weeks back and mum said the other day that she has had 2 people comment on how nice it is!!

Dont you hate it when your in the middle of making a lovely necklace and you dont have the bits to carry it on!!
