Bag bases

How do you all make your bag bases? Do you use plastic canvas or quilter template plastic?

I get mine from u-handbag (http://www.u-handbag.com/) or sometimes use greyboard covered in fabric, depends on the price of the finished item.

I use pelmet stiffening along with wadding...Iron on ofcourse!

I do too. I always make my own. I use whatever I can get my hands on and cover it with something pretty.

Yeah I think the plastic grid thing is unstable feeling! Especially with larger sized bags.
