I spent last night cutting slits in paper to create these stars and snowflakes. I am so pleased with the result.
The tutorial came on an email of Stumble upon.

They are actually really easy to do and I got it down to 4 minutes from start to finish!
Bigger ones are easier than tiny ones.
use 6 pieces of paper for a snowflake and 5 for a star.

Hmmm, lovely. im just wondering what they would look like first cut with either pinking shears or any of the other various fancy patterned scissors
