bad news for british beading....

I am in shock...... I have just had an email from the uk publishers of the new beading magazine and been told that they are not going ahead with the launch. Why?
I don't know other than that the email said: " Dear Karen:

I am really sorry to say this, but I have been instructed not to launch Creative Beading & Jewellery Design at this time. Quarto Magazines is going through a restructuring period.

Hopefully, we will be in touch shortly."

What a kick in the teath. We were all behind them.........

Did you call them to check? I am placing an ad and had ordered some copies of the mag but I've not been informed they were not going ahead (yet).....

I might do tomorrow as this is indeed very disappointing if true.

As it stands, the future of the magazine is very uncertain, at the moment it would appear that the magazine does not have a future with Quarto. I really don’t know anymore than this to be honest, however the Editor, Emma Foa, is passionate about the project and will do all she can to see that it is published, either here or elsewhere
