Allergy free metals

If I wanted to make 'proper' jewlery, what type of metal chains/findings etc should I use?
A number of people can react to the metals with blotchy skin which Im trying to avoid doing.

i think what you need to look for is nickel free findings. i'm not sure though. someone more knowledgeable than me will probably be along in a minute :wink:

Yep, sterling silver is your best bet, but pricey, otherwise nickel free is a must, as nickel is what most people get skin allergies from.

Other than that, jewellery made from cords etc with slip knots so there is no metal to worry about :D

Hi - I have been told that titanium is allergy free - haven't tried it so it is only what I have heard
